What they are
Each workshop is a full day of hands-on work with AI tools, built around real research tasks rather than demonstrations. We compare what different tools do well and badly, practice reviewing their output rather than taking it at face value, and talk through how this plays out in different fields.
The workshops are held at the CSU Alumni Center. Lunch is provided. Each session is capped so there is room to work closely, which means participation is selective rather than open to everyone.
What to bring
Bring a laptop and, if you have one, a research task you are actually working on. You do not need any prior experience with AI tools. The point is to build judgment about when they help and when they do not, using work that matters to you.
Timing
We are still shaping the format and schedule. More information will come, and details will be posted here as each session is set.
